After you've set up your Quicken desktop software, you might want to change your Quicken ID password. Here's how:

  1. Open Quicken for Windows application.
  2. If prompted, enter your password. Depending on how you've set things up, this may either be your Password Vault password, or your Quicken ID password.
  3. Go to Edit > Preferences. The Preferences dialog displays.Choose Edit menu > Preferences.
  4. In the left pane, select Quicken  Quicken ID , Sync & AlertsCloud Accounts.
  5. In the right pane, under Quicken Profile, click theselect Update your Quicken Profile Information link.
  6. Type your current Quicken password in the Sign in page.
  7. Select the change password option and enter your current and new password.
  8. Click OK.
  9. .
  10. The My Account screen displays.
  11. Select Change Password.
  12. Enter your Current Password.
  13. Enter your New Password.
  14. Click Save ChangesEnter your new password in Quicken when it prompts again.

Remember to change the password to match on the mobile devices that you want to sync with this data file.
