About hiding an account

If you close a real-world account and the balance is now zero, don't delete it in Quicken! You can save the historical data and still clean up your Account List by simply hiding the account. When you hide an account, it no longer appears in the Account List. You can customize reports or graphs or forecasts and choose whether to include these hidden accounts, and you can show them again if the need arises.

Choose Tools menu > Accounts List
