If the budgeted amount is wrong
Customize the report. Change the to date to the last day of the month (or the period you're budgeting for).
A budget report shows a budgeted amount to be less than the actual amount if the to date is not set to the end of the month.
For example, if you budget $200.00 a month for a category and run a report through the 15th of the month, the budgeted amount on the report is $100.00. If you customize the report and change the to date to the last day of the month, the report shows the $200.00.
If the time period is wrong
If this a saved report, the time period you wanted when you last ran the report may not be the same time period you want now. Be sure to verify it and make changes, as necessary.
