Click the Sign in as a different User link to sign in as a different user. Once you perform this step, all the cloud data associated with this data file will be removed. You will no longer be able to get latest credit score / get the latest online bill / use Life Yield Tax Optimizer using the old Quicken ID, once you perform this step. You will have to re-register for credit score, online bills, Life Yield Tax optimizer and also re-sync all the data to cloud on the new user ID that you are signing in with.

Why you might want to do this:

  • You can't remember the password for your Quicken ID, and you can't reset your password because you don't have access to the email account that you're using.
  • You want to use your Quicken ID with a different data file.

Here's how:

  1. Choose Edit menu > Preferences.
  2. In the left pane, select Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts.
  3. In the right pane, under Quicken Profile, click Sign in as a different User.
  4. In the Sign in as a different user dialog, enter yes to confirm the action.
  5. Select Sign Out.

If you would rather delete all your data on the Quicken cloud and start over, delete your cloud data instead.
