  1. Click the Rental Property tab.
  2. Click the Properties & Tenants button and choose Show Property List.
  3. Select the property you want to edit.

  4. Click Edit.
  5. Modify the property name if necessary.
  6. Modify the address if necessary.
  7. Modify the property type if necessary. If you have entered transactions for a multiunit property, Quicken does not let you assign a property type that has fewer units. This is to protect the data you have entered.

  8. Select the Hide property checkbox if you want to hide the rental property.

  9. Modify the association with the house account if necessary.
  10. In the ‘Property Documents’ tab, select any particular document that you want to edit, click on the ‘Gear’ icon on the far right. Take actions as appropriate and click on OK.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Repeat these steps for all properties you want to edit.

Notes

  • To edit a property or unit, you can also click Properties & Tenants on the Rent Center page, choose Show property list, and then click Edit.
  • If you change the property name, you must rename the house account too.
