You have manually entered a value in one or more fields, resulting in an Amount field that does not equal the Price field multiplied by the Shares field.
Choose the field that Quicken should automatically calculate, based on the numbers you've entered. We recommend you choose Price, because it is more essential that you manually enter the number of shares and total amount to match these numbers on your brokerage statement than that you match the price.
To have Quicken automatically calculate the Price field in future transactions, enter the number of shares and total amount, while leaving the Price field blank. When you record the transaction, Quicken will calculate the Price field for you.
