Open an account from the Account Bar
- In the Account Bar, click the account that you want to open.
Open an account from the Account List
- Choose Tools menu > Account List.
- Click the name of the account you want to open.
What if my account has many transactions and is slow to open?
Having several years year's worth of transaction history appear every time you open an account can slow down your work and add visual clutter. If this is your situation, consider managing the size of your Quicken data file. The way to do this is to archive the older transactions using either the Archive or Create New Year features.
