You can designate one business to include all of the business transactions that do not have a valid business tag. When you do, Quicken will automatically associates associate all business transactions without a business tag to the business you have selected this check box foryour selected business.
You can select this check box for only one a single business at a time. The first time you add a business to Quicken, Quicken automatically selects this check box, but you can clear the check box. To help you decide if you should, select each of the following links that applies to your situation.

Selecting or removing a business to track transactions without a tag
Use this procedure to change the status of Business transactions without a tag belong to this business.
- Go to the Business tab.
- Select Business Tools → Manage Business Information.
- In the Manage Business Information window, choose the business if there is more than one and select Edit.
- Select the checkbox Business transactions without a tag belong to this business to designate that business for assigning tags. Remove the check from the checkbox to no longer use that business assigning tags.
- Select OK

If you plan to track only a single business in Quicken, selecting this check box can save you the time and effort it takes to tag your business transactions.
