Edit an employee stock option grant if you need to change the expiration date or grant number of an employee stock option grant that you've already created in Quicken.
If you made a mistake setting up the vesting schedule, it is easiest simply to delete the Grant transaction and set up a new employee stock option grant. Warning: If you delete an employee stock option grant, Quicken deletes all transactions associated with that grant.
- Open the account that contains the grant you want to edit.
- In the investment transaction list, scroll up or down to find the grant transaction for the option you want to change.
- Select the transaction.
- Click Edit.
- Make any necessary changes to the grant number or expiration date.
