What Will Happen to Your Account

Is my Quicken Brokerage account still active now?
Your Quicken Brokerage account is, and will remain, active online until December 12, 2003. You can continue to manage your account as you normally would until December 9.

What do I have to do to maintain access to online brokerage services after December 12, 2003?
You don't have to do anything. Your account will automatically be transferred to Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc. as a SiebertNet account, unless you transfer your account to another brokerage.

What if I want to transfer my account to a different brokerage?
You can transfer your Quicken Brokerage powered by Siebert account to any brokerage company you choose. Some of the major brokerages that other Quicken customers use are included in a chart we have provided for your convenience. However, in the event you wish to have your account(s) transferred to another brokerage company, you will need to advise us in writing and include authorization to transfer your account(s) along with the required documents no later than December 9, 2003.

What pricing will apply to my new SiebertNet account?
New pricing will apply to your new SiebertNet account.

How soon will I have access to my new SiebertNet account?
You will have access to your new SiebertNet account on December 15, 2003. If you have not already received it, you will soon get a mailing from Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc. with details on how to access your new SiebertNet account(s).

What will happen to my portfolio and my assets?
All your positions will be transferred over to your new account. As part of this transfer, all your money market fund balances and any account credit balances will be moved from Pershing, LLC to the equivalent class of money fund at National Financial Services, LLC. A sheet comparing money funds and a prospectus for the Capital Reserve funds will be included in the mailing you will receive shortly. It is important that you read the prospectus carefully.

Will these changes impact my monthly account statement and year-end Form 1099?
You will receive two December account statements, one from Pershing and one from National Financial Services, LLC. You may also receive two Forms 1099 at year-end.

Your Quicken.com Member ID and Password

What will happen to my Quicken Brokerage Member ID and password?
Your Member ID and password will still be valid at Quicken.com. They will give you secure access to your Quicken Watch Lists, your My Finances page and all of the other investing resources available at Quicken.com.

Will my Quicken Brokerage Member ID be valid at my new brokerage?
No. You will need to establish a new user ID and password/PIN for your SiebertNet account at Muriel Siebert & Co., Inc. You will receive information shortly in the mail that includes details on accessing your new SiebertNet account online. If you transfer your account to another brokerage of your choosing, they will be able to provide you with information about their login process.

Can I still download brokerage data into my Quicken software?
Yes, you can still use the Quicken One Step Update to update your Quicken data with participating brokerages. Download terms, conditions, features and pricing may vary by brokerage.

How can I keep my portfolio on Quicken.com up to date?
The most automatic way to update all your holdings is to set up your new portfolio to download from your new participating brokerage and then export your new portfolio from Quicken to Quicken.com. After your Quicken Brokerage powered by Siebert account is transferred, set up your new SiebertNet (or other participating brokerage) account to download your transactions directly from that institution. See the list of participating brokerages. Once you have done this, you can also set this account up to be exported to Quicken.com. This way, you can view your shares and positions on Quicken.com. Quicken's One Step Update can actually do both of these in one easy step. Download terms, conditions, pricing and features may vary by brokerage.

Will I still get real-time quotes on Quicken.com?
No. Real-time quotes will not be available to you on Quicken.com once the Quicken Brokerage powered by Siebert service is discontinued. You can, however, still get delayed quotes (15 minutes for NASDAQ, 20 minutes for other exchanges) at Quicken.com. However, as a SiebertNet customer, you will receive free real-time quotes on SiebertNet.com. Terms, conditions, pricing, and availability of features subject to change at any time. See www.siebertnet.com for details.

What other features will continue to work at Quicken.com?
Many investing and financial planning features will still be available to you at Quicken.com. You can still get an up-to-date look at your current holdings and portfolio value by updating your Quicken.com portfolio through your new participating brokerage account. You can use the Portfolio Analysis tools on Quicken.com to look at sector diversification against a model portfolio, analyze individual stocks and mutual funds and more. Other financial tools, such as the One-Click Scorecard, can help you keep your investment decisions in line with your financial goals.
